“Also sneaked an artist reference in here” – Annie Warbucks? The white eyes with no pupils always reminds me a bit of that style/type of artwork anyways.

That second to last panel is wonderful.

Can’t figure out the reference. I was thinking maybe the way you handled the thumb behind the glass was a reference to something, but I can’t think what. Don’t see it popping up in any Roy Lichtenstein for example.

  Nope, but for the sake of any future readers trying to guess this one, I’ll say it’s to do with the second-to-last panel 🙂
  (I think my reference was more niche than I realised… xD)
